Fabio Massa, Italian actor, director and screenwriter, born in Castellammare di Stabia, Naples, class of ’84. Throughout his career, he has built an artistic path that combines auteur cinema, social commitment and international productions, distinguished by an intense, realistic and deeply human style.
He made his cinema debut in 2002 with Rosa Funzeca by Aurelio Grimaldi, presented at the 59th Venice International Film Festival. At the same time, he took part in successful Rai productions such as Un Posto al Sole and La Squadra, quickly consolidating his presence in the Italian audiovisual landscape. In 2008 came the turning point with Io Non Ci Casco by Pasquale Falcone, alongside Maria Grazia Cucinotta and Ornella Muti. The film, winner of the Ennio Flaiano Award and distributed by Medusa, marked the beginning of an increasingly solid and versatile cinema career.
In the following years, he developed his path as director and screenwriter—from AEffetto Domino to Mai per Sempre, earning Best Actor at the New York Movie Awards and Gran Galà Cinema e TV. In 2024, he wrote, directed and starred in Global Harmony, an American co-production shot on Lampedusa and distributed in over 90 countries, earning 33 international awards. In 2025, he appears alongside Alec Baldwin in Last Night in Sorrento.
Massa founded the production company Goccia Film, creating cinema he defines as “a social instrument”—stories that illuminate the human condition with uncompromising honesty and deep emotional resonance. He is currently developing his next cinema project.
